"We adore Thee O Christ and we praise Thee, because by Thy Holy Cross Thou hast redeemed the world!"

Today (Sept. 14th), the Church Celebrates the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, this feast takes precedence over what would be the Twenty-Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time. As we focus more on the Cross, take a few minutes to listen to this awesome Matt Maher song "You were on the Cross" (http://youtu.be/0PzvzFk1bQA ) and if possible, find some time today, and everyday to reflect on Christ's most sorrowful passion.

(A Prayer - Written by me ... well most of it was anyway.)
"O my Loving Lord Jesus, I thank you so very much for the sacrifice you made for us upon the Cross and although I, at times struggle at being that holy person you want me to be, mainly because I often seem to slip up and fall into sinful ways. Loving Savior, by your Passion and Death that you suffered upon this Glorious Cross that we venerate and honor today, which as we know led to your Glorious Resurrection, I thank you for defeating sin and death and by your simple act upon the Cross, and providing for us the graces within each of the seven Sacraments that your Holy Church makes available to each of us to obtain so that we might become as holy,as the saints. I love Thee, Jesus, my love. I repent of having offended Thee. Never permit me to offend Thee again. Grant that I may love Thee always and then do with me what Thou wilt. Amen".
